Are there any $KIN token holders? If you still hold the original ERC-20 tokens I have good news for you. You can finally convert them to their new home at Solana blockchain.

You have two options available, both clearly outlined in this post:

  1. With the transfer to FTX exchange
  2. With Sollet wallet

Since I wanted to set up the Sollet wallet anyway I will go with the second option.

Simply jump to Sollet.io page to generate the seed for your new wallet.

You should save the seed in a safe place.

After you have your wallet and an address on Solana you need some $SOL to cover the transaction fees.

First, adding a KIN ERC-20 token contract (0x818fc6c2ec5986bc6e2cbf00939d90556ab12ce5) will cost you around 0.002 $SOL.

I used Binance to top up the wallet with $SOL.

First, I sent a small amount of $BUSD from my BSC address via Metamask to my Binance address. It must be at least 10 $BUSD since this is the minimum trade amount.

Then I exchanged $BUSD for $SOL and withdrew it to my new Solana address.

I could add the $KIN token contract now, finally. The result:

Now I was ready to send $KIN from Ethereum to Solana.

With clicking on Receive I was able to choose ERC20 $KIN to deposit and was offered to connect Metamask.

I had to pay the ridiculous amount of $5.57 for the Ethereum fee. Crazy! I also forgot that the transaction is not instantaneous as it is with BSC or Hive. It was a very long wait. Even crazier.

Actually, there were two transactions to perform, transfer and swap. The fees were $2.85 and $2.72 respectively. Luckily I had just barely enough $ETH on the sending address.

Next morning ...

The confirmation took 1 hour and 27 minutes. Eh ...

Anyway, now my $KIN is safely on Solana blockchain and all I need to do is to decide when to sell it. Immediately or now?

Better and better
