This is going to be a surprise for the person to whom this gift is being given. I had made a post a while ago about trying to find a member to gift some Steem to in order to change their lives. I wasn't really looking for the types of entries that were received as I did not feel the people who entered could change their lives with the prize, they could simply make things easier for a short while and would soon be in need again. I apologize to anyone who entered and did not understand what I was trying to achieve.
I have had my eye on a user for a long time and watched how they are trying at life. They have had some hiccups both on and off of the platform but always seem to hold their head high and push on.
I truly hope this woman is able to turn this gift into a thriving business with hard work and determination. The groundwork has been laid and the money comes with an established account that has been promoting artist here on Steemit. This user has even been the heart and soul of the account these past few months as I have been dealing with family issues. I originally asked her to write the daily post and place user votes and I would pay her the earned SBD from the post. She declined payment and I know it was not something she could truly afford to do. I have sent her some SBD here and there for her hard work and commitment but now I wish to hand the account off to her to give her a chance at building her own business on Steemit while allowing her to use her own account for daily life.
