Hello guys. It's your usual boy ernesto6402@ernesto6402 and I here again for the week open mic. How are you guys, hope your week went well. As for me, it was a stressful week but that cannot prevent me from dropping my post here for this week's open mic. The week's theme is as proposed by @... in really a thought one. But as much as I can, I will give my interpretation.

Today I will be doing my favourite song; I will doing the song Fame by Adekunle Gold. The song Fame by Adekunle Gold exposed the disadvantages that comes along with fame. As a matter of fact, Adekunle Gold expressed his unhappiness with being famous. To him, being famous is really difficult since it come with so many challenges. Expressing his sadness, he lamented on the fact that he does not feel at home any longer around the people he loves and this for him is as a result of his fame.

The fact about life is that we cannot always have it all, we must give up somethings if we must have the other. The sweetness that came with a particular lifestyle can disappear all of a sudden if one grows beyond that lifestyle. All the freedom and homeliness that was enjoyed by Adekunle Gold disappeared all of a sudden, and that is as a result of him becoming famous. His case is not different from that of every other person, at every stage of our life we let go of a particular privilege we enjoyed as a result of being in that stage. In as much as growth is necessary for every human person, the sweetness of being young can sometimes be enticing.

Originally, Fame by Adekunle Gold is a very is a pure afro-beat song. Notwithstanding, I will be doing an acapella version of it today and I hope you enjoy. One love ✌️

LYRICS
I have gone to many places with a lonely heart
I am longing for a place where I can feel a part
I am here in my own house but home seem so far
I have tried to cross the distance but it feels so far

Sometimes my mamma's house don't feel like home ooo
Sometimes my baby's arm don't feel like home pop
Sometimes with my friend I feel alone ooo
Sometimes, I feel alone ooo

Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh

Everybody say don't change but how will I grow
I am scared to do the things I want but people don't know
I wanted the fame but I no know say the thing go hard ooo
Somedays I want to run away I no go lie ooo

Sometimes my mamma's house don't feel like home ooo
Sometimes my baby's arm don't feel like home ooo
Sometimes with my friends I feel alone ooo
Sometimes, I feel alone

Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh

Oh! Show me the way out
Sometimes sometimes I,
Feel alone...
I feel alone ooo

Sometimes my mamma's house don't feel like home ooo
Sometimes my baby's arm don't feel like home ooo
Sometimes with my friend I alone lol
Sometimes, I feel alone

Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
