Hello everyone. The Church celebrates a great feast today, and I have decided to make a post in respect of that. Today is Trinity Sunday, a great celebration in the Catholic Church. This very song was used today by my choir for the entrance, and I, for some reason, just felt the need to perform it myself. It will be the first time I will be performing a solo here on Hive in a long time; I have been performing with my keyboard for some time now.
The song I have chosen to perform in honor of Trinity Sunday is "Holy, Holy, Holy" by John Bacchus Dykes. It is an ancient hymn of praise to the Trinity, and I have chosen to perform it with a simple accompaniment I downloaded. It will be quite solemn, and I hope you enjoy it.
Happy Trinity Sunday to all Catholics out there. Do well to join my singing if you know the song well enough. I am , and it is beautiful to have shared this with you. One Love ✌️.
Lyrics
Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
Early in the morning our song shall rise to thee.
Holy, holy, holy! merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!
Holy, holy, holy! all the saints adore thee,
Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea.
Cherubim and seraphim, falling down before thee,
Who was and is and evermore shall be.
