It's been awhile since I've posted about my African violets for a very good reason. Today however I have to share with you the latest.
It's known that African violets are changing colours and somehow it's unexplainable for me or I don't know enough to explain the phenomenon. Once I gave a white African violet to my cousin and after a few months she said it started to bloom and it was pink.
Today I'm going to show you another unexplained miracle.
This is more likely purple but the camera is cheating when it comes to flower colours.
This is also purple with white stripes. Why is this important? Because these two are in the same pot and from the same "mother". It is really unbelievable and amazing in the same time.
Unfortunately I can't remember what the "mother" leafe was like, was it simple purple or with stripes but either way the result is amazing.
My flower sales are increasing, looks like people like African violets which I'm very happy for as I can make a very small profit from my passion and also get rid of the excess in the best way. I know it sounds awful but you can't stop flowers to grow new ones and since space is limited, it comes a time when you have to decide what to do and you only have two options. Give them away, this is the best option or throw them away, which I could never do as it would break my heart. Thus I'm selling them to people who I hope would take good care of them.
Someone made an order for three purple ones, I was planning to give her one of these but now I can't. First I have to wait until it has a few babies and let them grow. Good thing I have others and can give the lady three pots.
Nature is amazing and the best artist as well, I'm always telling you.
