Time can so easily get away from you on these short vacations and that was certainly the case with this trip to Montreal.
Our second day here in the city we discovered Uber's new eBike rental service (called Jump). During the daylight hours we've been zipping around the city on these (very fast) eBikes and they allowed us to see much more than we normally would have on foot or by car.
The thrill of these Jump bikes doesn't come cheap. We learned that they actually cost MORE than taking an Uber car but the adrenaline rush they provide make them worth the premium price. At one point we almost hit 40 miles per hour going downhill. The looks of astonishment when people see you barely peddling but keeping up with traffic is priceless.
“Traveling – it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.” – Ibn Battuta
Last night we ventured up to the Upstairs Jazz Club to catch jazz singer Cynthia Tauro there who was promoting her new CD called, "Moments". During the one hour set her and the band played an uplifting mix of original songs and standards.
We even had a brush with fame during this trip. We saw Phil Rosenthal and his television crew at the Jean Talon Market outside of Montreal. He was filming an episode for his travel show, Somebody Feed Phil. I'd like to catch the Montreal episode because we'll probably be in the background while he's eating at the oyster bar.

There are a ton of photos in the slideshow below (48). I hope you enjoy them as much as I've enjoyed taking them.
Tomorrow we make our way to the airport for our travel day back to Gilead..um, I mean the United States. ; ) Now I have many more stories to tell.
