Thank you! So many people across the world got close to these birds when the national network news picked up their story. That hasn't been all good as some of those people don't understand nature and have overly humanized the birds and, in the process, brought drama into the social media threads. It's already looking like Shadow might be pairing up with a younger female "KayDee" but the jury is out as to whether or not he'll accept her and allow her to be on the nest. The eaglets go through a period where they still hang around as the parents teach them to hunt but Sunny and Luna have already left the Big Bear Valley area to find territory of their own. It's comforting to know they'll be out there somewhere raising their own. I think they do have a way of recognizing offspring. Thanks, those photos are screenshots from the live cam.
