You're welcome. Yes, I agree. The monopolization of attention is what it is. What's purely evil is making indie content creators pay to reach people who want to read them--X, Facebook, Medium. Quora isn't a publicly traded company, so they don't have to disclose earnings/losses. Some estimate Quora profited somewhere in the range of $120M last year.
