I'd say that totally counts. It's almost as if you two were destined to meet at some point, or at least the odds were putting it in your favor. I never tire of hearing these kinds of stories. I think there is a loose framework of grand design taking place in most people's lives. It's just a matter if we make ourselves conscious of it or not. Becoming conscious of it is a huge advantage and can save a whole lot of time.

Very cool! I bet it was a wild place back then. I didn't make it to Montreal until 2017 and then visited five more times over the years. It's a lovely and fun city. I'm trying to convince my wife to go.
