I appreciate that, thanks! It's great that you still enjoy your job that much! I didn't. I had hit a glass ceiling many years before I left in 2017 and wasn't really going anywhere beyond the position I was in. I got tired of training new college grads in then watching them be promoted over me. That's quite a difference in benefit! Mine was about a 40% reduction for taking it at 55 vs 62 but I decided it was worth it to collect seven years earlier. It won't be much but when combined with Social Security (if the program is still solvent) and dividends it'll be more than enough to pay our monthly living expenses.
