Yes, you're right. The average citizen will have to take more initiative. The politicians are definitely bold because not many people are paying attention (and haven't been for a long time).

The Minneapolis City Council voted over the weekend in favor of defunding the police department. I haven't read the details of their plan yet. It should be interesting.

I did see those clips! The police aggression is insane. They were clearly trying to send a message. It's hauntingly similar to some of the scenes from Germany in the years leading up to WWII.
