Something is stirring
within us,
if we quiet
our minds but a
moment to listen,
It’s time to find
the hero inside,
because the
middle path,
it has all
but disappeared,
It’s time to
speak truth to power
or sell your soul
this lie forever,
Hyperbole is now
an epidemic foible
burning through
the brains of
the inspired but, still,
the gentlest of
hearts are housed in
the hardest of souls,
It’s time to
make an experiment
of surrender,
to finally live life
on the bleeding edge,
always moving
towards better,
anything less
is disservice
to all those
who've come before,
Brothers and sisters,
It is time.
