RE: Sometimes People Can Suprise You
My wife and I can't believe how squirrely people have become since the pandemic years! We often mistake friends' behavior as being standoffish/erratic/aloof but then they're completely different during

I love getting older! There are trade-offs, for sure, but IMO what you gain is greater than what you lose. With each year time seems to get more precious so it feels more valuable. We see so much more

RE: A Little Bit of Grace
Happy birthday and anniversary! I'm glad you had fun. Austin is such a great city—I'd love to get my wife back there some day. It's tough to power through jet lag and it doesn't get any easier with age.

They were both very prominent on the platform in the early days. I know! It saddens me how many good people we've lost over the years. I certainly will let you know! We'd likely be splitting our time up

I'm not sure yet. It would likely be either spring or fall, we prefer to travel off-peak when we go overseas. We've always had good luck in May and September.

Thank you! I can't wait to hear more about your trip! I was hoping to make it back to Austin this year for the shareholder meeting but it's looking like this year's will be virtual only. I think they'll

Thank you Joe! I really don't see myself stopping entirely anytime soon. We're dog people too. It's been tough not having a pup in the house but we have plenty of surrogates. : )

It sounds like a wonderful meet-up! I'm hoping to make it back to London in '27 it would be great to meet some of the crew. I think the platform needs more of these face-to-face meet-ups to rally more

Somewhere along the line it went from being fun to feeling as if I didn't post every day that I'd lose my audience (the latter seemed to happen anyway due to shifting tastes and people leaving the platform.)

Hi John! Writing short fiction is a wonderful way to build those neural pathways that make it possible to create something larger. In some ways, short stories are really just like chapters of a novel.

Thank you Nancy! I was thinking of compiling a bunch of my essays together for my next book but I'm so glad I decided to tackle another novel instead. So far I have the plot and chapter sketches nearly

What a wonderful way to spend the day! That reminds me so much of the beaches on St. Thomas—it brings back some great memories. Thanks for sharing, Nancy!

Bologna, now that brings back memories. My brother got the bright idea once to throw a piece of Oscar Meyer's best against the ceiling when he was about 8 years old. It stayed stuck for 10 or so minutes
