It's really eye-opening, isn't it? They're estimated to have made about $120M last year according to some accounts. Small potatoes when compared to other social media platforms but it's still a lot. I

You're welcome. Yes, I agree. The monopolization of attention is what it is. What's purely evil is making indie content creators pay to reach people who want to read them--X, Facebook, Medium. Quora isn't

That's pretty substantial in the grand scheme of things. Thanks for the vote!

Wow, 3M views is something! Sometimes we just win the algorithm lottery I guess.

It still makes me happy to think almost 2 million readers read what I wrote.

I don't think it would be impossible if we had a cohesive roadmap. Onboarding could be made much more simple and a rebranding would probably be required.

Oh yes, 1.8 million upvotes in the golden days (2016/7) could have bought you a house. : )

Sponsorships are a huge part of the equation. I'm shocked by how much some people are making on X now. Some make their payouts public but that pool of creators who are thriving seems very small. The worst,

It's still possible to make decent money on YouTube and X is increasing payouts as well. I've never been able to crack the X algo to get enough engagement to be monetized there though—it's continuously

You'll love Austin. The vibe and the food there are pretty incredible. I hope to make it back this coming November for another shareholder's meeting. Hopefully I can talk my brother or my wife into making

I'm so happy to hear it's still happening! You've done an amazing job organizing these over the last decade. Hopefully, next year, we'll see a return of the traditional HiveFest.

It's so important not to keep things bottled inside. This is one big lesson I've learned over the last few decades. Life is so much better when we express instead of suppress!

I should think about changing our furnace filter too. The AQI is much better today, in the 60s instead of 300s.

For sure!

Thank you!

I'm glad it all worked out in your favor! It sounds like you visited some very nice areas. My wife's family used to vacation in Bayfield, Wisconsin.

Incredible. The US is a much younger country, yes, but we've done a poor job of preserving the history we have. It's just a different mindset, really. With the help of LIDAR they're finding all kinds of
