Do you think Steem cannot progress if it doesn't allow new users to adopt its platform?

These days price of Steem price is very disheartening, not only for the purpose of profit maximization, but also for the purpose of people's faith on this Cryptocurrency. Declining price of any currency is directly linked with its reputation and the quantum of trust people have in it. Steem and other cryptocurrencies also follows this rule. So, low price of Steem, especially when other cryptos are performng well, means only a few people like and support it.
Do you think Steem cannot progress if it doesn't allow new users to adopt its platform?

• I think so because only a few people cannot make Steem great.

• Steem doesn't need new users.

• Steem is only for the big investors.

• People who don't buy Steem, have no right to say anything.

• Steem doesn't fulfill requirement of a true social media platform as it has restricted entry and involvement of new users.
