I can only recommend to every woman to get the domain of the house back into her hands. It's a much better life than having to have a career, which in most of the times, is only a job. To run the household, to make it a good life for my husband in terms of serving a good meal, to make cleaning, shopping and laundry etc. my given responsibility, spares not only me all kinds of headaches and nerves but also him.
It does in no way insult my intelligence since there is plenty of time on top to train my brain and other skills. I never appreciated the income in the same way when I myself was working outside. Now, my husband has my greatest respect and there is no need for complaints. I am a happy wife and so he can be a happy husband. There is, of course, more to it but that would lead too far.
