It's good you found an arrangement that works for you. I agree the change in gender dynamics probably accounts for a lot of the confusion here, since we can't live in a new world overnight, remnants of the old are still there, and make life that much trickier to make sense of.

I suppose, in a situation like yours, I could agree. Certainly, it would be unfair for either partner to be the main financial provider and do the household tasks, as well. But since a lot of couples don't do that (e.g. they're both financial contributors), a lot of difficulties and questions around the topic seem to arise :)
