I think the divide between naturopathy and pharmaceutical products is self-made. No matter what people take and what they take it for, there is abuse as well as benefit in both directions. I usually stay out of these debates because it is difficult to convince someone from one camp into the other. I once heard "he who heals is right", it also depends on what you believe in. Someone who has grown up with orthodox medicine from childhood and knows nothing else is very likely to be suspicious of something else. The reverse is probably also true. There is a film about LSD, which has now been used by researchers in an experiment to treat depression. As a result, the researchers managed to get some of their patients to gase, although I have to say that I found the setting quite peculiar. The continued separation between "I am healthy" and "you are sick" reduces the person with the illness to himself, when it should be clear that mental suffering is an expression of how a person is doing in his environment and how he looks at this world.

This is where my favourite field comes into play, according to which the observer influences the observed and vice versa.

Overall, it can be observed that people are in dispute and demarcation when meat eaters rail against vegans/vegetarians, childless against parents, vaccinated against unvaccinated, black against white and vice versa. At the same time, one could say that the differences are basically to be welcomed, one can accept them and life taught me that it is precisely the difference that can bring insight.

Good doctors or other practitioners listen to what the patient tells them, what they want and need. As you say, you know best about yourself and that is what counts. It doesn't matter which squad/identity you "belong" to. It's probably best not to let any of this be known as an identity or preference anyway, because people are too quick and happy to make judgements about others. It's best to talk about the weather in an environment where you are a patient or in the weak position, and thank people kindly and politely for what they offer, but insist in an equally polite way on what you yourself prefer. In most cases, unnecessary camp debates can be avoided and people meet each other as human beings and not as advocates of something.

How is your life going? We haven't talked in a while.

Greetings :)
