Pretending to be a woman is tricky and precarious business. Pretending to be an alien creature in the form of a woman even more so ;)
HaHa :D, right. While reading it I thought that you've got great imagination skills which suit a writer and a teller of stories in which different characters have to be dealt with. One can sense it if a writer is not able to stepp out of his own preferred behavior patterns and form of dialogue or storyline.
Horror genre is not my thing, either. I distaste horror movies and books, or I should better say I acquired it over time. (Vampires are no horror, you must admit ;-) They are usually portrayed as beautiful and seducing. LOL - if not, I am not interested.
Thanks for reading that story. Yes, I am an old-timer on this platform. I was, of course, a bit disappointed that so few readers caught the book review and I got excited to put it forward to you after I read your "Ballad for angry Johnny".
What was funny about it, that I dedicated the post to an artist whom I had a really close relationship at that time and he never answered on that post, while he replied to almost every other publication of mine. When being asked, he answered that Rices' books remind him of his ex, who read her. HaHa! So, you never know what is going on behind the curtains.
