As for gratitude, I would say the potential is greater with age. The body becomes more vulnerable and weaker, performance decreases overall, you approach the evening of life and all of a sudden, it seems, the little things are many times more valuable, beautiful and remarkable. When I was young, things I considered trivial bored me immensely. I would never have thought of walking around a flower meadow and wanting to look at almost all the blossoms and find a little cosmos in them. They were just "boring colourful things". And then maybe it comes from mind-expanding substances I once took that pushed an eye for detail into my sphere. I don't know, there may be many things involved that I hadn't considered yet. But anyway, the fact is that I experience it this way and am happy about it. It also reminds me immensely of my mother who, the smaller her own living space became, seemed to delight in tiny things. I remember it so well because it used to rather irritate or even amuse me that she could put such enthusiasm into her garden, even though from my point of view it wasn't spectacular at all. While I was looking for the big kicks, she was finding her little ones.

I could probably become a little witchy witch myself one day. I can imagine it. But a more restless spirit still prevails, maybe, not sure. Maybe on the cusp of a slow transition there. HaHa!
