Met a woman today through the "underground channel". We talked for three hours. She was with her daughter and we made a walk and stayed a while at the playground. We connected. We felt understood. We laughed and we hugged each other. She invited me to her home. Me, a total stranger. That was the best gesture I received in a long time. She also handed me out a stack of resistance newspaper. I already passed some of them out to people and in the neighborhood. Talked to a guy at newsstand. Handed him a copy. He asked: "Is this from some crooked editors, like scientology?" I said: "Do I look like someone from a conspiracy clan? I am a normal mother with a son and friends and family. We are here to do something for ourselves, the people." He nodded and began to read.
Doing groceries. Asking the security personell in front of the supermarket to take care of my bag in my bike. They nod and smile at me. When I am done, I give them a copy of the newspaper as a thanking gesture.

Handed another stack at the other newsstand. A guy from Afghanistan. We refuse to wear masks. Talked to my neighbor. We agree that all this is nonsense. Written to all the parents of our class. Discussed with the teachers and the parents' representative at school, who didn't assist me and refused to begin to open up a forum for other parents. Dealt with the pain. No answers from the parents. Silence.

Situation comedy: My man and I walk past the park, which has been closed for months under construction. But through the bushes we see people in the park. We go to the gate and I say: Let's see if it's open. But at the gate a thick iron chain. I say, "Too bad, we can't get through." And a voice behind me says: "Not for long." A father appears with his wife and their little baby. From underneath the baby carriage he takes out a long bolt cutter and bites through the chain. Just like that. I laugh and cheerfully shout, "You'll give me back my faith in humanity". He grins and this couple with child push the pram into the park. We feel: We have had enough. But the comedy of the situation amuses me until deep into the evening. I laugh.
