HeHe, maybe we have different memory approach. I can hardly remember any situation in which I was alone and that memory sticks with me. It all blends together in a sense of how it is in general to be alone. I can see a picture, like me reading, writing, sewing or cooking (often times repeated actions) or handcrafting. But I could not answer when I even did those things attached with other things - of more single nature - from last week.
I remember gatherings in social situations much better. The better the more often I have them re-membered with others. Like repeating what one did on a journey. Meeting people on the road, in a train, restaurant. Meeting once: no memory. Meeting more often and talking about the meeting, time and time again: solid form of memory. Sitting with ten people at the table. Talking about common childhood experiences. Time and again. sticking memories. Talking about teachers with other students. sticking memories. Creating certain teachers. Maybe they were totally different for other students. Actually ... I think so ;-)
Some stories become over time so much altered through the process of always talking about some same events that one would laugh out loud if one could record the first time speaking about an event after it had happened and the 30st time. Maybe even some totally different narratives would be the result.
... RE-MEMBER.... cool, it just happened that even the word provides that this act takes members. Sometimes even prisoners :D maybe also objects are meant which one re-arranges ... re-groups ...
Surely that happens to you, too?
