2 Timothy 3:14-15
The Bible is the manual that explains Jesus. There is an assurance in salvation. There is partnership security in salvation.
Salvation is beyond accepting Jesus. The scripture is given by inspiration and is profitable in doctrine.
The inspired scripture is beneficial and profitable in the belief system of a Christian.
The sacred inspired word of God is profitable for reproof. Though all scripture is inspired by God , certain acts and inscriptions were not inspired by God.
The reason for your calling is quite distinct. People's view of being Christians has been thwarted because they do not know who they are in Christ Jesus.
The basis of your salvation or the essence of your being in the church or part of the church is expressed.
It is expressed in EPHESIANS 4:12-13. For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.
Eternal life is not in a book- not even in Bible. Rather eternal life is in the person of Jesus.
Jesus speaking in John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
The scripture is a manual. Manuals explain the products. And the product is Jesus. Thus , the Bible is a manual that explains Jesus; the word of God!
Let Jesus be the only basis for your salvation. For there is no other name by which you can be saved, except through the name of Jesus.
From Genesis to Malachi every verse therein consistently refers to Jesus until his appearance in the gospels of Matthew, Mark Luke and John.
Again, from the Acts of Apostles to Revelation, the entire Bible still refers to Jesus. He is your way to god; the truth about God and the very essence of your life!
