From the teachings of the holy scripture, religion has nothing to do with our salvation from God, Salvation is a free gift which all mankind gets from God based on your behaviour. Good works and religious practices have value when they reflect genuine faith, but they cannot earn God's gift of salvation.
As Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6).
Gaining salvation from God helps us to grow in faith and strengthen our spiritual faith. The Bible emphasizes a personal relationship with God through repentance and faith in Christ. Those who trust in Jesus and follow Him receive the gift of eternal life by God's grace, not by religious affiliation or human effort.
