¡Hola comunidad!

Debe haber una forma en la que se pueda moldear con este material sin que se deforme lo que ya habíamos hecho. Cuando retiré la flor del palito de altura... pasaron cosas ¡Jajaja! recomiendo antes de sacarlo dejen que se seque un poco.

Estoy haciendo un par de florecitas de estas para ponerlas de decoración en mi mesa, en algunos videos vi que mezclaban colores para obtener tonos más claros u otros colores, así que hoy mezclé unos para obtener un tono morado más claro.

Una vez que seque el producto quedarán bellas.

There must be a way to shape this material without distorting what we’ve already made. When I took the flower off the tall stick… things went a bit haywire! Hahaha! I’d recommend letting it dry a bit before taking it off.

I’m making a couple of these little flowers to use as decorations on my table. In some videos, I saw people mixing colours to get lighter shades or different colours, so today I mixed a few to get a lighter shade of purple.

Once they’ve dried, they’ll look lovely.

Mezclo dos colores de foami moldeable, un morado muy intenso y un rosa muy pálido con ello obtengo el lila o morado más claro.

Estilo la masa y hago un rolilto, corto en secciones iguales para hacer unas bolitas.

I mix two colours of mouldable foam clay – a very deep purple and a very pale pink – to create a lilac or lighter shade of purple.

I shape the mixture into a roll, then cut it into equal sections to make little balls.

Tomo otra porción pequeña de masa color amarillo y la uno al palito de altura, amaso unas bolitas y con ayuda de una tapa aplano para hacer los pétalos.

Comienzo a pegar los pétalos intercalados al rededor del pistilo, cada pétalo debe cubrir espacios vacíos.

I take another small portion of yellow dough and roll it out into a long strip; I shape it into small balls and, using a lid, flatten them to make the petals.

I start sticking the petals alternately around the pistil; each petal should fill in the gaps.

Las puntas de cada pétalo se de da una forma de hojita.

Tomo tres trozos de foami color verde y hago bolitas, repito los pasos anteriores, con la herramienta aplano la masa y luego moldeo la forma de la hoja.

Pego cada hoja intercalada en la base de la flor.

Con la herramienta de moldear realizo las nervaduras de las hojas.

Como la flor la quiero para ponerla sobre la mesa, deja secar la pieza para que lo retires del palito de altura.

The tips of each petal are shaped like little leaves.

I take three pieces of green foam and roll them into small balls; I repeat the previous steps, using the tool to flatten the foam and then mould it into the shape of a leaf.

I stick each leaf alternately onto the base of the flower.

Using the moulding tool, I create the veins on the leaves.

As I want to use the flower as a table centrepiece, leave the piece to dry so you can remove it from the tall skewer.
