I'm a fan of open experimentation and building in public. There once was a time when each new month brought about a new open experiment. It was a great way to learn quickly and share what I was learning with others as it was happening. Some ideas become new streams of income and others fell flat dying a fiery death. No matter what happened each experiment was a success. Because I did not know what the results were going to be, hence the experiment, so any outcome was a win. I miss those days.
These days my time is filled with wonderful projects and fulfilling work. I'm truly living the dream. This is the life 2005 Jennifer could only have dreamed would become my reality.
The only thing missing is the time to allow my creativity out to play. I would like to bring in some form of my old build in public days, but it needs to be more streamlined. Monthly challenges are not feasible at this time, but an experimental sprint is something I could absolutely do.
One to two weeks to stress test an idea to see whether that creative spark will become a flame or fizzle out. I'm excited to share that my very first experimental sprint starts tomorrow. This should be interesting. Stay tuned.
