On Saturday, February 22, 2025, the KSI DAO Powered Session brought together young shredders for an exciting day of skating with Mrs. Annick Dhont from Belgium.
Event Highlights
The young skaters were divided into three teams:
• Team A
• Team B
• Team C
Each team participated in fun skateboard-based challenges, testing their balance, control, and coordination. The games included:
1. Push and Collect – Skaters pushed their boards back and forth, picking leaves 🍃 and placing them in a helmet 🪖 to be counted.
2. Seated Push & Collect – Skaters moved seated on their boards, collecting leaves 🍃 and returning them to the helmet.
3. Standard Push & Collect – Skaters pushed their boards normally, gathered leaves 🍃, and returned them to their team’s base.
After five rounds of five minutes each, the total number of collected leaves was counted, and the winning team was announced.
Break & Free Skate Session
To recharge, the kids enjoyed a refreshing break with fruits 🍉 and juices 🥤, giving them the energy to continue skating. The event concluded with a free skate session, where the young shredders took full advantage of the moment, practicing tricks and enjoying the supportive atmosphere.
This session not only strengthened the community but also inspired the young skaters, showing them the power of teamwork, skill-building, and international support in skateboarding.
With Gnars & SkateHive.- KSI has been able to host weekly Saturday Session where kids are nourished and transported by help from Gnars treasury.
