Good evening everyone, good to see you again and today I want to be talking about my thoughts because
all day, it was just me and my thoughts.
‎No noise. Just my mind talking, sometimes gently, sometimes cruelly. Every step I took, they followed. Every pause I made, they grew louder. On a bad day like this, my thoughts were not visitors; they were my company.
‎They reminded me of what went wrong.
‎Of efforts that didn’t pay off.
‎Of words I should have said differently.
‎At some point, I realized something painful: you can be surrounded by people and still feel alone if your thoughts are heavy.
‎I tried to distract myself, but my mind refused silence. It replayed mistakes like a broken record. It asked questions without answers. It doubted progress I knew I had made.
‎Yet, as the day dragged on, another voice appeared quieter, but steadier.
‎It said, “You’ve survived worse.”
‎It said, “This day is bad, not you.”
‎It said, “Rest, don’t quit.”
‎That was when I understood: my thoughts can be my enemies, but they can also be my shelter. If I let them destroy me, they will. If I guide them, they will guard me.
‎So I chose carefully.
‎I chose patience over panic.
‎I chose reflection over regret.
‎I chose hope, even if it felt small.
‎By nightfall, nothing had magically changed—but I had. The day didn’t win. I learned to sit with my thoughts without letting them drown me.
‎Some days, people will fail you.
‎Some days, plans will collapse.
‎But when everything else is uncertain, one thing remains:
‎My thoughts are my company.
And most times, it defined me.
