Community Development

  • Whiteblock claims that EOS is not blockchain. In response, Thomas Cox, interim executive director of the EOS Alliance, published an article, "yes, EOS is blockchain," rejecting Whiteblock's argument and saying that if a distributed ledger meets these criteria, it deserves to be called a blockchain:
1)A growing list of records, grouped into blocks
    2)Blocks are linked using cryptography
3)Each block contains a cryptographic hash of the previous block, a timestamp, and transaction data
4)Transactions and blocks are validated by multiple independent devices who reach agreement via a consensus mechanism

  • Daniel tweeted: Proof of work is like Byzantine generals that can approach but never reach consensus as it is always possible to mine a longer alternative and all full nodes will switch. Hence pow networks are not Byzantine fault tolerant

  • Daniel in Telegram:"Market cap is independent of market use. Eth is just a coin like bitcoin. Focus on building an economy around a token, supply and demand will guide the rest"

  • Eosbixinboot Initiate a proposal aims to change the current value for TARGET_BLOCK_CPU_USAGE_PCT TO 30%.The CPU threshold upgrade for #EOS has been successfully voted in by 15 of the Top 30 BPs.

  • Nov. 10-13 Beijing time, EOS hackathon, Scaling Blockchain Conference and EOS World Tour were held in San Francisco.
At that time, wallstreetcn blockchain media, together with gravity blockchain and the decentralized exchange WhaleEx, ask questions to EOS developers in San Francisco, sending a first-hand exclusive news to the majority of users.
