Hey, I'm Eric, nice to meet you! ;)
(With (part of) the fam here - I'm the dorkus giganticus on the right)
Very excited to have discovered this wonderful platform/community, along with cryptocurrencies/blockchain tech in general. I think if used in the right ways, these inventions and innovations will reshape our world. I hope to contribute in some way to this process eventually.
Summarily, music and woodworking are my longtime passions - thankfully these things are also my 'occupations'. I'm lucky to have traveled the world and built a life doing (mostly) what I love for the last ~14 years. I also love nature, mathematics and programming... among other things of course!

Tides and times are always changing though, and to avoid stagnation I think it is important that we ourselves change as well.
Some of my favorite places to go:
This is one such phase in life for me. Lately I find myself feverishly tackling new challenges - Russian language, Python 3, calc and physics at the moment. I also cannot seem to shake the excitement of decentralized blockchain currencies, social media, and other networks function and the power + potential they have. I am utterly stoked and count myself lucky to be among the somewhat initial steemit and crypto 'pioneers'. At least before the masses arrive in earnest. :)
Perhaps my biggest focus now is to invest and work towards the future - the overarching goal being to settle down eventually and start a family - but this cannot happen until many goals/requirements I have of myself are met. Serves as good inspiration to get them done. Among other aspects, I see the crypto space in all its marvel as a budding/soon blooming market and an excellent vehicle toward securing a future financially.
If I could say anything to a random stranger, it'd have to be:
Keep on being you - you are awesome. Don't think badly of yourself and don't constantly compare yourself to others. Your value lies within - if you share that with the world you are giving us all a gift and making the world a better, more interesting place.
Thanks for reading.
