Guide to EOT KYC

EOT KYC Process for Pre-sale and Crowd-sale is open at August 13, 06:00 UTC.
EOT Pre-sale start time is August 25, 02:00 UTC.

If you want to participate in EOT Crowd-sale or Pre-sale, you must first pass the KYC. The following guide will explain the details and answer some questions you might have. Before you start, please have two things ready:

Your Ethereum Wallet Address (always double check to make sure it's correct)
Your Identification Document(Passport/ National Identity Card/ Driver License)

Note: We highly recommend that you use Google Chrome browser.

Step 1: Enter your ETH address

The ETH address that you provide must be valid, and compatible with ERC-20 wallet. You should NOT send funds from a smart contract or an exchange. If you do so, you risk losing all your deposit as it will not arrive to the right address. You can also use the ETH address to log in KYC system and check your KYC status.

Step 2: Fill out Personal Information

All fields are obligatory, except Middle name if you don’t have one.

First name
Middle name - if you don’t have a middle name, leave it blank
Last name
Gender
Date of birth
Address of residence (Street and number)
City / Town
Postal code
Country of residence- NOTE: United States and China citizens are restricted from participating in EOT Pre-sale/Crowd-sale.
Region - please insert the Region or State of your residence

Note: Region is required. KYC process will not continue if region is empty.

E-mail
ID type - please choose either Passport or National Identity Card
ID number - please provide the exact number as it appears in your ID.
Contribution amount (ETH) - how much are you planning to contribute in ETH
Your intention for purchase - please choose the reason why you’d like to participate in the EOT Pre-sale/Crowd-sale:
- I would like to play dGames/dApps
- I am enthusiastic about blockchain technology and want to try everything
- I would like to develop dGame/dApps based on the EON Protocol
- I like the project and I want to be a part of the user community
- I like the project and I will help promote the project

Before you move on to next step, please double-check your data. If everything is correct, submit your data by clicking on the "CONTINUE" button.

Step 3: ID Verification

To verify your identity, please upload two pictures as a proof of your ID authenticity, please make sure that the photo is complete and clearly visible (in JPG/PNG format, smaller than 1MB).

1. Identification documents(Passport/ National Identity Card/ Driver License): The identification documents should also be valid (please check the expiration date)

2. Selfie with identification documents

NOTE: The identification document in two pictures must be the same one.

Make sure your face is clearly visible and that all identification documents are clearly readable. If everything is correct, click the "SUBMIT" button to continue.

There are few things that could fail the KYC application, please make sure that the submitted files meet the requirements below:

Please make sure that the photo is complete and clearly visible (in JPG/PNG format, smaller than 1MB). The identification documents should also be valid (please check the expiration date).
Your selfie (photo of yourself by yourself) should be taken at the moment of the KYC application.
Make sure your face is clearly visible and that all identification documents are clearly readable.
When taking a selfie, choose a well-lit area, preferably indoors to avoid direct sunlight. Do not wear sunglasses, hat, or any other accessory that would make your image unidentifiable.

NOTE: If the files fail to meet the above requirements, your KYC application would be rejected.

Step 4: Under Review

Once you upload and submit all the documents, you are done with the KYC. We will review and verify your identity. When the KYC procedure is finished, you will receive an e-mail confirmation within 24 hours.
