When I am at my parent's, I try to go out to their garden and the community gardens nearby every time I can. I love to watch the changing skies and listen to the birds chirping and calling. Light enchants me; that is something I always look at in awe. The different angles the rays bathe things, the sharp shadows, the blinding glow turning everything golden.
If I remember to take my cellphone with me, I have a camera. If I leave it at home, I enjoy what I see. This past afternoon I had to take some pictures with a work-related goal in mind. After I completed my task, I decided to stay out and search for any potential shots.
Here I present you with some of the things I encountered in my way.
It was a little challenging, but I finally got to see the spiderweb.
This small plant (probably pertaining to the genus Tillandsia) was attached to a branch covered in lichens.
This Azalea flower in bright sunlight is part of a rather big shrub. Azaleas belong to a subgenus of Rhododendron.
