this winter we have had a fair amount of snow but the temperature has varied a lot. each time it snowed the weather quickly turned milder so the new soft white snow soon became slippery ice.
i find shadows on snow are often particularly attractive, so as soon as possible when it snowed i was out hunting.
the snow on the footbridge over the inner harbor entrance disappears quickly but i managed to get these shots
the slats on one side of the wooden bridge were put in place to prevent it from being too slippery but luckily for shadow hunters they also make more interesting designs.
