we stopped in at an awesome place called Gudbrandsjuvet in the town of Valldal in the mountains of western Norway. A juv is a narrow steep gorge, and this one is both particularly narrow and steep. it's an exhilarating experience that will get you tingling all over.
there is a cafe positioned before the beginning of the juv where the river narrows and drops. the cafe walls toward the river are glass, giving an impressive view from inside. more importantly for this post, they give a striking reflection of the river and its rocky bank. the reflection is aligned just right so it seems like you are viewing the river straight through the glass and there's no sign of any cafe.
this place is amazing! check it out
i just posted about it in the Worldmappin community:
