Hola queridos amigos.
La ventana de choques m谩s reciente nos trajo un muy cerrado partido con Panam谩, jugado de visitante(al quit谩rsele la sede a la Habana por la complicada situaci贸n econ贸mica que vive Cuba) y que finalmente se perdi贸.

Hello dear friends. I just heard comments from fans about the Cuban basketball team, and their latest defeats, and I was encouraged to write about the subject.
If we coldly analyze the statistics and see that Cuba has a balance of 0 and 4 and little chance of qualifying for the final phase of the FIBA AMERICA World Cup, we can only sit comfortably and criticize the team and its coach. However, by breaking down the internalities that have always hampered the possibility of the Cubans presenting a more competitive team, we will see the actions of the national quintet more objectively.
The first duel with one of the great teams in America, the Argentine team, was well played and disputed until the end, despite the Albiceleste superiority in all orders. The second game in gaucho lands saw Argentina impose its category and win easily. The most recent clash window brought us a very close match with Panama, played as a visitor (as the venue was taken away from Havana due to the complicated economic situation that Cuba is experiencing) and which was finally lost. With Uruguay, the superiority of the South American quintet was reflected throughout the entire challenge and Cuba had no opportunity to achieve success.
To be honest, Cuban coach Osmel Planas has never been able to count on all of his best players in at least one game. You should always plan your strategy with 3 or 4 significant losses (including Cuba's best player who has not played a single minute), whether due to injury, visa problem or player's neglect, etc. To further complicate the chances of qualifying, the Caribbean team could not play at home against Panama, and instead of doing so on a neutral court as would be correct, it had to compete on the rival's field. They will not play with Uruguay in Havana either, apparently, missing out on something that is vital in any sport, taking advantage of the home field, to get the best possible results. Not so much time has passed since that historic, surprising and impressive victory over the United States, and even though that success has remained like an oasis in the middle of the desert of bad results, I think that Cuba has a little more to offer than what it has achieved so far, it's just that the entire context in which that team has had to compete has been tremendously adverse to them.
