Mushroom Art Exploration

This mushroom trip is safe for the whole family!

I recently had the pleasure of discovering the art of Anthony Christopher (@achristopherart) here on Steemit. His work is a fine balance of macabre and light humor, bizarre and mundane. It's a unique blend sure to captivate any passerby.

Seeing his sketches and illustrations awoke my primal urge to draw! So I started working on this mushroom basket still life...

Past the halfway mark now.

A couple steps from earlier in the process

The second WIP is an origami mushroom.
It seemed like it would be straightforward enough at the get go. Wrong! I had to set this one on the back burner for a minute to give myself time to recuperate.

It'll be completed soon enough though. The finished origami mushroom will then be saved in the box with all the other models I've made until the big #origami-journey diorama at the end.
