Find a single thing and focus on it the best you can.

The issue many people struggle with is trying to do too many things at once. They have a few ideas and they want to see them all play out.

For me a large amount of my effort is now on making a game. While I do stop to play games as well while I mull over some ideas or work out stuff I’m doing. That is where what free time I can find tends to go.

So I would recommend finding something you can do that you can also blog about. If that would be working on your game you could also blog about it and share it in the game development community. If it’s something else than do that. The important thing is to find something and put most of your focus on it.

Only so many hours in a day. For me I can’t tell if sometimes I work on my game just so I can write content about it. While other weeks I can’t be bothered to write about it as I don’t want to stop for a moment to take the time.
