Lol, now that is a lot of mosquitoes.
I kind of wish I was able to hit up more of these trails during the cooler months. Now so many of these places are going to turn into little marshes with all the rain and heat coming on down.
At some point I want to start doing some 20 mile days. Perhaps one day working up to some kind of multiple day trip. It’s kind of hard down here as it seems most places are closed after sundown.
Anything more akin for thru-hiking here that allow some kind of camping is known for being covered in water. I don’t want to know how many gators could be lurking in trails that have sometimes miles of almost knee deep muck some of the places people have to cross though once the rain starts.
