Once @ambiguity had recovered from the physical demand
@lunamoon and I placed on his body, it was a week full of more adventure for us! The place I live has some of the most beautiful scenery I know of, and I've been around a little bit. Maybe that's why I stayed here, ha!
On Monday, I took him to a spot called Cummins Mills which has another of those majestic waterfalls. We saw all kinds peaceful scenery and even licked some toads! Well, maybe we didn't, but this donut sized one did try to hump his leg.
On Tuesday, while looking for a place to eat, we went by the Train Depot. He got some cool pictures and stuff of that and I showed him some of the bicycle art that adorns one of the entrances. That led to another adventure over to Cane Creek where more of those same artworks are displayed.
Love that Mantis. On Wednesday, and this could very well have been the highlight of his visit, I took him to Cumberland Caverns. It is over 27 miles of a cave system they used to mine saltpeter back in the day until just after the Civil War. It was a nice break from the heat of the sun and was inspiring to the brain.
I have plenty more pictures, but I'm pretty sure I'm pushing the data limit for a post as it is. I wanted to share the other leisurely activity we did on Thursday. Our inner city waterfall at East Lake. It isn't as big as the others, but you can get a lot closer and the sound deafens the thoughts enough to find your peace of mind.
That was the first place I'd visited when I moved here. It quickly turned into one of my favorite places. I took my boys there for training and have taken the girls there multiple times as well. I hope you enjoyed our adventures and REMEMBER TO BE YOU! I always am, even while joining random funeral processions.
