I've been watching these guys for a little over 2 years now and finally invested in them today. I'm not saying anyone should, but am going to tell you why I did. The main reason being, Market Square. The people over at #ark are doing some serious things. I've never seen such a coordinated front and eager acceptance of all things crypto. Other blockchains could take a page out of their book in realizing that before any one chain can 'dominate', we all have to push into the mainstream with arms locked for unified strength. Competition is great, but cooperation wins wars. Can quote me on that shit.

I don't know if anyone follows @hellomsq, but these guys are on point with their videos. Well, his videos. Stop over there and give them a look. They are really trying hard to work with us and think they deserve a little more of our time collectively as the Hive community.

Staking Your ARK

First thing you need to do, is download their wallet (makes sense to use theirs as it would be the most secure and trusted), or find another one you like that supports delegate voting. Once done, you must purchase some ARK (or if you already have some ARK, transfer it to your wallet). I just swapped some other crypto for it on Exodus. There's plenty of ways to do it. I'm not going all super step based, just basic as I'm assuming most of you already have a decent grasp on wallets and trading. If not, Let me know and we can set up a time maybe to guide you in doing it, it doesn't take long, the ARK network is pretty fast.

Once you have some ARK in a wallet that allows you to 'stake', which, it is not called staking, but rather - voting for delegates - than that is what you need to do. In the ARK wallet, it looks like this:

You can view a list of delegates and their live performance on ARKdelegates.live. From there, you can see their rank of the 51 that are currently producing and weigh their stats and contributions to help you choose one. Inside the ARK wallet, as you can see in the picture, just tap on delegates and pick the one you want. You can even set up multiple wallets and vote for other ones too. It will cost you between .5 and 1 ARK to submit your transaction vote. Once done, you will start receiving a share of their block production rewards! Simple.

I hope that helps and gives you an insight as to what I've been doing this week. Nobody has to, but I felt it was a wise move as they are loving Hive and figured I'd show them some love right back by actively participating in what they are doing somehow.
