As winter quickly begins its journey to nip at our heels and noses, the last of the autumn rainbows grace the countryscapes. I know, that's not word, I just made it up, deal with it. Ha! There are still a few lingering reds and yellows and even a few flowers hanging on strong. I had the chance to stop and smell the roses while Freya and I waited for her bigger brother to take his road test. Here's a few delights we spied:

As much as she enjoyed the birds and picking the last of the feathered dandelions to blow the seeds in hopes for a wish come true, something else caught her attention. And kept it. Off from the edge of the brush line, was a small rock spillway where there were (obviously) a bunch of rocks. Amidst all the stones she found this:

Kept getting drawn to the marbled gray rocks. It was as if they were wearing ribbons to be noticed just a little bit more. Maybe they were hoping some young girl would take a liking to their beauty and ask Daddy to bring them home. They all stayed in the pet shop though. However, they did well as models for these pictures and gave that same little girl some fun playtime as you'll see in the video at the end of this post. Whatever you do out there, REMEMBER TO BE YOU! I always am, even while shooting the marble catwalk.
