This is about sustainability.

I don’t agree with the power up tax, but I think it’s fair that people want to come and go as they see fit.

The social aspect won’t be affected if rewards are on layer 2. Everything is still readable from layer 1. Layer 1 rewards have been the bane of Hive attraction except for the very rich or very poor.

And I tell people once again, people don’t care about free speech. They care about “their speech”.

Most people on either spectrum of beliefs would censor the others in a heartbeat because people are garbage.

That’s why they chose places like Parler and Gab. Because some group was going to cater to their speech, not because they are offering a place for civil discourse.
