The Cattleya mossiae orchid is a widespread flower in much of the Cordillera de la Costa, in a range that goes from 800 to 1,500 meters above sea level; It is located in the states of Miranda, Aragua, Carabobo, Yaracuy, Lara Portuguesa and throughout the Andean region.
The lip of the Cattleya stands out for its wavy lines that simulate the turgid shape of a woman's body, which is why it is considered the symbol of femininity and beauty in Venezuela.
