Something that I hadn’t really thought much about until recently is how absolutely wasteful my lifestyle is. I mean, as a person who likes to think of themselves as grateful for what I have it’s astonishing how much I waste food, time, money, and energy. Take a second to think about the things that you waste, when pure honest about it for most of us it’s a lot.
So how do we remedy this? Where do we start? And how will being less wasteful positively impact our lives and the lives of those around us? Those are all good questions let’s explore them ...
Being concious and aware is always the first step. Once you know what you’re wasting you can come up with a plan of counter attack to waste less of it. You have to be honest with yourself though, this isn’t something you can sugarcoat. Once you know what you’re wasting it’s time to get educated on resources that will help you for example if it’s trash, where is the closest place where you can recycle? Google is your friend (Until it’s not lol) and be sure to ask family membrs and friends that may have strengths in areas that you don’t have.
Being less wasteful overall can save you money and time. It also helps the planet And The environment which is in dire need of all the help it can get.aslo being less wasteful will simplify your life because it will push you to let go of things that are unnecessary.
I’ll dive a little deeper over time just wanted to try to get the wheels turning
