Wednesday is for pancakes!! Or it actually was for my boyfriend, pusen@pusen, 29th birthday. He got his birthday gift from me earlier this month (you can read about it here), so I wanted to make something of his choice to celebrate him. "The best way to a man's heart is through his stomach".

It takes a while to make it, but the main ingredients in my pancakes are eggs, milk, flour and salt. I always use four eggs. Because when you use more eggs, you can reduce the amount of flour. I always let them swell for 15-45 minutes before I start with making them (depends on how long I can handle to wait).

I fry the pancakes until they are get a nice tan on both sides. The first one is always the ugliest one ๐Ÿ˜„

I turn the stove on 50-100โ„ƒ, and put the finished pancakes in the stove. Because I want to keep them worm until I have made all of them.

It tastes soooo good!

Pancakes are more a dessert than dinner, and that is why I always have pea soup with it (to make it a little more dinnerish?). We also had fresh strawberries, jam, bacon and sugar with it. So we decide what we want on the pancakes. I sometimes use sour cream with it too, and I have tried with Nutella too.

He did get a candle on the (pan)cake tho. The color is of his choice. Haha

I thought about making a cake on his birthday, but my boyfriend ate cake at work. I'm still going to make a cake tomorrow to my friends 30th birthday too. Carrot cake. So there will be cake (enough sugar, haha) this week on both of us.

A belated happy birthday wish to you, pusen@pusen ! โค๏ธ

Do you like pancakes?
