Geocahing - Bergen’s highest mountain: Ulriken (Total finds: 253)
It's still raining a lot this summer. I'm really sorry to say that while the world is boiling hot. But anyways, we had some sunshine last Tuesday. And that ment we had to go to a new geocaching trip. And we wanted to go to the biggest mountain in Bergen: Ulriken.
It's the first time I have been on this mountain. I have lived in Bergen for 9-10 years, and it's pretty bad that I haven't been there before now.
There is different ways to go up to this mountain. We had walked the same route before when we just walked the half way to the top. We geocached back then too, and we found caches there too.
The first cache we found
did I see right away. Just because the look of the place was just as the one we found at our last geocaching trip.
The second one
did we find among some stones. The cache was actually bigger than we thought. I really like to find big caches, because there is usually small boxes and micro sized boxes.
The third one
did look like the second cache, only a smaller box. We had to go a little bit outside the trail, and we was still scared to step on a viper. We later on figured out that it was probably too high on the mountain for the vipers to thrive.
The fourth one
was one of the micro caches. They are really small and often hard to spot. But @pusen found it easily. It's nice to the experience of geocaching a lot.
This geocaching trip did take us 4-5 hours, and we were pretty tired at the end. My legs hurts so bad because we had to go stairs all the way down to the city again.
I'm looking forward to do some more geocaching soon with
@pusen.
These pictures are on our way down and I love the view into the city. It is also possible to go up or down with a cable car.
