With the way things are happening in the world today, everyday our hopes are been turned down as we see the direct opposite of what we have been praying and longing for. Since when I was a child I have been hearing that the economy is bad and till date, you barely hear anyone say anything good about the economy.
It has become something that has eaten us so bad that now people have made that sentence a cliche for avoiding responsibilities and demands from others. Though some people are using it to catch cruise but of a truth, the economy is really bad. It is one of the things that I knew to be sick right from childhood until date.
Although I almost concluded that there is no cure for the economy and that it will continue to grow lean and the people will keep suffering until we return to state of nothingness, but recently i discovered that my thoughts were very wrong. The economy is bad yes! But there is a cure for it, unfortunately that cure is individual based but the good news is everyone and anyone can get it, it is just the matter of choice.
What could this cure be? well that cure is hard work. ones ability to produce something that is unique, ones ability to double his/her effort to get things done, ones ability to put what he/she knows how to do most in action, can cure such a person from the malady of economic hardship.
Truthfully, today Just when things seems to getting better then another calamity will breaks out . It is so sad that the problems of man can never be exhausted. Our needs and wants seems to be increasing instead of decreasing daily. Sometimes I wonder why things are like that, even when you say you want to monitor your spendings and focus on the most important things, you will discover that as soon as the money comes, the problems you have on ground will be multiplied. I wonder if money attracts problems hehe.
You go to the market nowadays you can hardly purchase all that you budgetted according to the last price you knew. Everyday the prices of goods keeps going high. People say money is hard to get but, I don't think that is true, money is only hard to get, to those who refused to go in search of it.
With the way things are hard the only solution for us to keep surviving is to go outside of our comfort zone and work. He that works wil never lack what to eat. The quickest and easiest way to die is to stay idle, the easiest way to live is to work but wisdom is having another alternative job apart from your main work.
I have a side hustle too.
What makes man a man is his ability to survive even in difficult times. Apart from my main job, I also have a side hustle that gives me little change. Man just have to survive by all legal means hehe. I do a lot of things inorder to survive so to say, but they are not that easy compared to my work because they requires a lot of energy to carry out. Well I know you have just been waiting to hear what I do right? Hehe. Well down here we call it labourer, it has to do with mixing sand and cement and supplying it to the Masons during building in the site, another one is digging of foundations and also soakaway. Trust me , it demands a lot of effort but that is how the street is. If you don't want to stay hungry then you must figure out a way to survive.
Since I discovered that the income I get from my work is not sufficient enough to provide for me and my family seeing how hard life is, I have to adjust to look for another way to double what I earn. I don't do the work often times, it is always during the weekends, so that it won't interfere with my schedule of work. Though the pay is not always big but trust me it use to help me a lot. Laboring it is not something I do because I love it but it is a second option for survival for the moment.
Well, obviously this is not a source of passive income but I am tempting to consider it so, because it is something I do during weekends and my free days to get extra change. I do not often engage in it. Shey it is sounding passive to you now ?😁
I used my reserved energy, that one I don't have need for to make some extra penny, if you say I am not the one doing it but my body, you maybe right as well, but don't let anyone hear you hehe.
Sorry for the long story, the truth is I don't have any source of passive income yet but i wish to learn how to design websites and online games but the funniest thing about it, is that I don't have any idea on it and I do not have anyone who does hehe. Well they said he that finds will definitely find, hopefully someday I will get someone to put me through. This is something I won't have to actively participate in but will definitely fetch me a lot of money, if I should be good at. Moreover I won't have to be active on it all day. I just do the design for whosoever needs it and for the game, I design /create it and leave it there for my players. I don't necessarily need to play before I earn. Well like I said, i am totally a novice in the field, so pardon my wrong terminologies hehe.
In conclusion, money never satisfies a man. Even the richest man in the world is still chasing after it. The idea for having a side hustle is very good and I wish almost every one will have it too but to some people the nature of their works might not permit them to do so. Although it also depends on what kind of side work you have or may want to do. There are works that can be done even during the night the choice is all yours.
The thing about having a side hustle is that, it makes us stay in cash , there will be days that your salaries or your wages, might either delay or probably be budgetted completely for something before it even comes, in such times, your side hustle can give you a little pay that can sustain you for the moment.
