"Thank you, Harry," the old man said. He sat down by the campfire. Harry looked at the stranger who has saved him. Harry was very young when he was kidnapped by slavers. The old man even younger than Harry, was tall and well built, with wavy brown hair, deep blue eyes, and a hint of stubble on his hard chin. He had just cut down his first Red Cap a few hours ago. The small red man was covered with dust that came from the red-orange rocks on which this odd place was built.

"It's gonna be dark soon. You wanna' sleep in the cave? You'll be safer there. Those little bastards're nocturnal." the old man said.

"Why'd you do that? I'm only four years old. Even if the little bastards can see me, I have a campfire. I'm not scared," Harry replied.

"You were too cute to leave, so I figured I'd keep you safe."

"I'm not leaving."

"What do you mean?"

"I'm staying."

"Uh... how about you, lady?" the old man asked. He looked at his young wife. She nodded, and they both helped Harry get settled in the cave.

Once Harry and his 'grandparents' were settled, they ate dinner. The old man didn't trust Harry to have fire without a stick, so he and the wife started looking for firewood. "There is nothing that strange about surrounding yourself in firewood." the old man said.

"I can see that." Harry replied.

"Harry can see your aura," his grandparent said.

"I don't have one."

"Ah, I see."

Harry woke up the next morning. His 'grandparents' were gone, so he cooked some breakfast. Harry looked at his watch. He was surprised when he saw what time it was. He figured he had slept about seven hours. Harry walked outside. He was surprised to see two Red Caps. He heard a scream behind him. He looked back to see a man being pulled away by two Blue Cap creatures. Harry ran back to the cave. When he arrived, he saw the man, dragging on the ground. His face was a mess of blood.

"Grandpa! I think one of the Red Caps got him!" Harry yelled. Harry went over to check on the man. "Oh my gosh, his face is broken. Thank goodness he's still alive. I think I saw one of the Blue Caps take him. Harry sighed tiredly. "Yusei, help him," Harry said.

Chibi Yusei appeared. The one way he could help was healing. He walked over to help. Harry helped him carry the man. It was slow going, moving the man through this ruined land. The sun rose. Harry didn't know if Yusei was going to make it. "Please, Yusei, you have to make it. You have to help!" Harry said.

"I will help him. He's just a little slow," Yusei said.

"Hurry, hurry, hurry," Harry said anxiously.

"This is as fast as I can go, Harry. I can't hasten the healing process."

Harry bent down when he heard a sound. It sounded like his phone. It was a ring tone he assigned to his mother. "Yes, it is."

"I don't have my mother's new number!"

"What are you saying?"

"I don't have her new number. I'm sick of everyone else knowing it. If I call her and say, 'Hi Karo, what's your new number?'" he asked.

"Oh right. Please, don't tell her I forgot her number." Harry replied.

"Yeah, just tell her to call 911 and they'll listen." Harry grimaced.

"Let me call her."

"And I'll tell her I've lost my phone."

"Sure, I'll definitely cover that up. Bye, Daiki."

"Bye."

"Huh?"

"It's Daiki," Harry replied. "He called me on my phone."

"Oh, good call Daiki," Harry said half-jokingly.

Harry pulled out his phone and saw that two text messages and four missed calls were in his new call log. "The annoying people were calling." Harry sighed. Harry looked at the beaten man. "Yusei, I have to go. Help him."

"You can't. Come here. I'll heal him right now."

"Yusei, please. I need him alive. I can tell in your face that you care about him. He's my relative."

"If he dies because of me, I'm going to haunt you. Now come here." Harry stood there for a second, then walked over to Yusei who was in his Ring Magic state. "Now you have to heal me first."

"Fine."

Yusei placed his hand on the man's face and the man turned blue. Then Harry took off his blue wristband and threw it on the man. Yusei's hand glowed bright red. Then he placed his hand on the man's chest. Harry chanted incantation. Yusei slowly pulled his hand back from the man's body. He then chanted "Rest in peace, Fredric Skoro." Harry thought that it was odd that the man was called Fredric. He sighed. "There's blood in his esophagus. Are you sure you had enough before I healed him?" Harry asked.

"I'm sure."

Harry told Fredric to wake up. Fredric rubbed his eyes and then looked at Harry, who was a little taller than him. Fredric sat up and looked at his arm. Fredric looked at him oddly. "Harry... you're back..." Harry looked at Yusei. "What did I miss?" Harry asked, noting the funny looks on Fredric's face.

"I didn't think you were going to wake up."

"I don't care. I'm not going to tell her the truth. She's not going to know why I'm here. I'll tell her I lost my phone. She doesn't need to know I'm in this stupid, weird world," Harry muttered, looking at the ground. Fredric heard what he said and sighed, saying, "Okay. I swear, I won't tell her why I'm lost. She'll never know. So, let's start from the beginning. Why am I a girl?"
