I have been thinking about the next bull run, and what may prompt it. Will there be some major news that leads to a super rally and are we going to see some major changes happening?

The first question that popped into my head was what sort of changes am I expecting? There are a few sensational events which have already occurred and an introspection to reveal possible changes only succeeded in revealing something else.

We have come quite a long way with blockchain technology already. Crypto is virtually everywhere and in your face these days. Those who haven't delved into the World do so due to lack of compelling interest and not total ignorance about the chain. We have made so much progress that the space has gotten full attention from regulators who are now trying to gain some form of control.

The question will then be how to attract compelling interest into the space in order to bring in even more people. With applications in various sectors already, I think what the space needs now is effective marketing.

Spreading the Good News

We have all seen the influence of what recommendations by polarizing figures can do to the crypto space. Elon Musk is a good example, and Doge coin owes its success to him. If we have more of such high profile people entering the crypto space (as a matter of fact we do), then there is bound to be more growth over the period.

This is especially true of the Web 3 media space which is likely so witness growth over the coming years. There was a time for instance where we hoped one or two popular people would onboard on Hive and perhaps transform the fortunes of the space. While it will be a bonus, it isn't likely to hinder the Hive's chain path to growth.

I think crypto has passed a few litmus tests regarding its genuineness, and that is why many now focus on its flaws. It is clear that Web 3 isn't going away anytime soon. Recent happening like media censorships, conflicts (Afghanistan, Ukraine etcetera) and economic collapse from bad leadership and corruption (Venezuela, Turkey, etcetera) have only further highlighted why we need this revolution.

Perhaps nothing needs to prompt a spike, just a continuation of a series of improvements over time.
