Another day, another life story. Expect some epic and funny moments from me. Please bear with my childishness and I hope you can relate.
It’s been a while since I last went out. Maybe I’m hiding from reality? Charrr. I just want to enjoy being home while I still can, before I take a leave to chase my dream. Because once I start working, I won’t be able to come home whenever I want.
I had the sudden urge to go ukay-ukay, so off I went to town — it was market day! You know how it is, lots of cheap finds with good quality. I tried convincing my high school friends to join, but everyone’s busy with work and life. So I just did a solo shopping trip.
I left early so I could take my time hunting and mixing outfits at the ukay. HEHE.
On my way home, the sky turned gloomy. Rain was coming. I saw two couples walking too, so at least I wasn’t alone. Then suddenly - the rain poured! Good thing I always carry my pink umbrella. Nyehe. Girl Scout, always ready!
The poor couples didn’t have umbrellas so they started running. I overheard one of them say, “Let’s hurry and drop by our child’s house.” The problem was, houses were so few and far apart.
When I got to town, the fare was so expensive. So I told myself — I need to make this worth it.
Mission accomplished! After all that time, sweat, and ukay hunting, I was so happy. 😁 ₱150 only:
-5 T-shirts - ₱10 each
-1 long pants - ₱75
-2 shorts - ₱15 each
But then... plot twist. While walking around, I felt something was wrong. I felt uncomfortable. I think it was my red days. I panicked and bought pads. Good thing the CR was there, though it was far from the market and no stores around.
And my gut was right. OMG. My light-colored pants. 😭 I swear people were looking. But Nyehehe, they don’t know me anyway! Thank God I bought black pants and pads. I quickly changed. Huhu. That was embarassing!
Next stop was AM store. Time to buy some stuff for me, and then get what Mama asked for.
Everything was done. Time to head home and wait for a ride. We waited for hours before leaving. It's really a waste of time, but the driver wouldn’t go unless the motorcycle was full.
Stopped by my sister's place to see my naughty nephew, Z. Caught him eating junk food so I asked if he ate lunch. He said he's done already.
Waited until 1PM, then headed home under the super bright sun. My sweat are non-stop and no water, but at least I had my umbrella and cap. I got home, rested a bit, washed my ukay finds, and cooked bihon for dinner.
It was an exhausting day again, but it was full of plot twists, epic moments, and lessons.
